Capt.
Billy Offers several different options to you when booking your
trip to better suite your schedule. Full day, three quarter
day, and half day trips are available. Capt. Billy can take
you fishing in the morning or afternoon at your request, or
as conditions permit. All day trips including lunch at a local
waterfront restaurant are available October through march.
Peak dates for bull Redfish and other productive months sometimes
book quickly, so anyone planning on booking a trip should do
so as early as possible to secure the date desired. Trips booked
on short notice are more than welcome should the requested date
be available.
Peak months for giant Redfish are May-October, with GUARANTEED
bull Redfish available during the month of October. Slot Reds
and Trout are available year-round, with the winter months being
particularly productive for slot Reds and Trout, as well as
Snook. Tarpon and Snook can be caught year-round, but the Tarpon
fishing peaks in the summer and Snook fishing in the winter.
One thing is for sure, regardless what time of year you book
your trip, Capt. Billy will have you catching something good!
All rates are for two anglers. Should your party contain more
than 2 anglers, Capt. Billy works with several other full time
guides to accommodate your party, no matter the size. Single
anglers save $50 on any trip.

-Three Quarter Day(6 hours).....$350

-Flounder Gigging(4 hours).....$250
-Night Snook and Trout(4 hours).....$250
-Tomoka Fly Fishing(4 hours).....$250
Capt. Billy also offers night Snook and Trout fishing, which
is great for young kids, as well as the seasoned angler! Large
numbers of trout are usually landed every night. Snook can be
taken on spin or fly, and are quite challenging to wrestle out
from under docks. During fall months Capt. Billy also offers
Flounder gigging. While you are gigging, you will pole along
looking for Flounder and Sheephead to gig, you will see Redfish,
Snook, and Trout. If you are lucky you might even be able to
sight cast to one!
For fly fishermen, Capt. Billy offers trips to Tomoka Basin
to sightcast Redfish that have never seen a fly before in water
sometimes less that 3 inches deep. These reds are usually 3-10
lbs and provide the fly fisherman some of the most exciting
sightfishing available as these fish venture shallower than
almost any other population in the state. These four hour trips
are for one person and are fly fishing only.
In addition to Mosquito Lagoon and Tomoka Basin, Capt. Billy
also offers Tarpon, Permit, and Bonefishing in the Florida Keys
during the summer months. Peak Tarpon dates are through the
last week of May through the middle of June. Bonefishing is
available all summer. Accommodations will be provided in a private
waterfront home in Marathon. You can wake up and Bonefish until
10am, then Tarpon fish till 2pm, go in and eat lunch, then Bonefish
again until dark. You will be able to spend the evenings with
Capt. Billy discussing the next days trip, which will well prepare
